Lindy Ventures started as a multidisciplinary multimedia art practice/brand concept founded by zak schiff in 2020. Based out of a home studio in altadena [The Lindy Factory], lindy’s current primary output included soft goods such as self-printed shirts, zany bumper stickers, and upcycled bags. currently, our focus is on the repair and sale of vintage watches at an affordable price point.

while watches are a fun and timeless accessory, many feel boxed out of ownership due to cost of entry for what’s perceived as a “nice” watch. refurbishing disused watches is a small way of fighting against the rising tide of the disposable mentality around fashion and commodities today. most watches were built to last, they’re the rare fashion item suited to any occasion, and they keep you off your phone. both the stylistically and mechanical-engineering inclined can tap into the source of utilitarian levity that watches provide.
